Agents exchanging information over domus

Our company based in North London would like to share information of property leads out of our patch to companies who looking for a Seller/Buyer or Landlord/tenant, theirs times, which we need to look for companies on the search engines and read reviews and recommend, in which this case we could just forward the information without all the waste of time.

I definitely think there is a huge untapped opportunity for more of a 'Domus chain of agencies'. Appropriate info sharing. Cross pollination.

Hi Ben - this makes perfect sense to me - we recently had a client wishing to rent in Hertfordshire and to be honest it was a quick trawl on the web for us but without any knowledge of the agents.....

This seems like an interesting idea.

Can anyone explain in more detail how it might work or provide some examples of similar models?

On the most basic level think it could work by having a lower tier of access, so agents can view each other's properties (just the same info as is pushed to public portals and no ability to edit); along with a directory of agencies by county and region.

A next step could be to encourage inter agency referrals, like multiple branch agencies to between branches. Doesn't have to be financially motivate/rewarded, but for the greater good of the Domus family...

Feels like a little bit of a waste not doing it. Currently there is no benefit to multiple agencies all using domus, as it makes no difference to the single domus user if the agency in the next street, city, county uses domus too or not. Strengthens agencies and encourages new clients for domus, win win.

I'm happy to zip down to Brighton and throw some ideas around when your ready to actually do something.
