Automatic log-out after an hour

Is it just me, or does anyone else find this annoying? I can understand a bank wanting to be really hot on security - hence they log you out after ten minutes of inactivity. My online lettings software (through a different company) allows me to stay logged on all day. With Domus I find that occasionally I put someone straight on the system but don't save them because the phone rings or whatever and then I move on to something else. I come back to it 90 minutes later and they're lost. Aargh!

I understand the security with this feature, as you are holding people's personal info, but maybe it would be better if we can set the log out time limit to suit our own businesses?

The idea of having a setting for time-out duration will be very useful and yes i agree with you on this issue it can be very annoying. What i do is write down the applicants information as I'm on the phone or with a client and when i have time, add the applicants to the system, and check it off my to-do list so i know what i have completed on my agenda maybe its a little extra but at least you don't loose your applicants information before you save it when the auto time-out occurs.

It was be far better to have the option of how long you want to be logged in for maybe with a drop down bar choice say 1/2/4/8/ hours. It seems every time i come back to the computer I have to log in again. Regards

Hi all,

We have increased the session time-out to 120 minutes (2 hours) to see if it makes life a bit easier.

Please let us know.

Thanks,

Jason.
