Email confirmation to my PC that the email confirming an appointment has been sent

When booking an appointment in the diary an email is sent to the applicant and vendor or landlord but I do not know if the email has actually been sent. I only receive an email notifying me if the email address is incorrect. I think a copy email should automatically come to my PC to confirm the email has been sent as proof.
